Our motivation

Medical professionals as teachers

Safe-Med is a registered training centre accredited with the Resuscitation Council of Southern Africa (RCSA) and the American Heart Association (AHA). We provide CPR and First Aid training in accordance with international standards of resuscitation — from members of the public to registered healthcare professionals.

We strongly believe that the best teachers are those with real, lived experience in the skills and methodologies that you require to effectively respond to an Emergency Medical situation. Through practical and theoretical training, you will have the tools to navigate an Emergency, at home, at work, or in an unexpected location.

Courses are kept to a ratio of candidates per qualified trainer to maintain the highest standard of training. Larger groups are accommodated by allocating additional trainers. All courses are available for private group bookings (minimum 8 candidates).

Adult CPR & Medical Emergencies
Learn to manage cardiac arrest, choking, and common medical emergencies in adults. No prior training required.

Ever wondered how you would manage in an emergency? This course teaches you to respond confidently to cardiac arrest, using an AED, strokes, seizures, and a range of adult medical emergencies. Participants are taught how to perform Basic CPR for Adults and manage injuries to maximise the patient's chances of survival. No prior training or knowledge is required.

This focused course covers infant and child CPR and choking management, giving new parents the confidence to respond in the critical first minutes of an emergency.
